General terms for engaging FMR for research, fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and reporting services.
These Terms of Service apply to work performed by FMR Technological and Digital Advertising Services, a field market research company based in Leyte, Philippines. They support professional research practice aligned with accepted international research principles such as transparency, informed participation where applicable, respondent protection, confidentiality, data quality, and responsible reporting.
FMR may provide research planning, project coordination, questionnaire review, respondent screening, recruitment, fieldwork, CATI, CAPI, qualitative interviews, focus groups, mystery shopping, product testing, UX/UI research, agricultural research, security assessment, data processing, analysis, reporting, and related research support as stated in the approved proposal or agreement.
Clients are responsible for providing clear objectives, target respondent criteria, location coverage, expected sample size, timeline, product or brand materials, incentives when applicable, approvals, and other information needed to complete the project. Delays in approvals, materials, or respondent lists may affect timelines and field deployment.
Work begins based on an approved proposal, written confirmation, purchase order, contract, or equivalent agreement. Costing is based on the approved methodology, sample size, manpower requirement, travel scope, tools, timeline, deliverables, and project complexity. Scope changes may require revised fees and delivery schedules.
FMR aims to conduct studies respectfully and professionally. Respondents should not be deceived about the general purpose of participation unless a method such as mystery shopping requires limited disclosure and is approved by the client. Sensitive data, recordings, images, or identifiable information should be collected only when relevant to the study and handled with care.
Research timelines may be affected by weather, transportation issues, local access, security considerations, respondent availability, holidays, government restrictions, or other field realities. FMR will coordinate practical adjustments when conditions affect the approved plan.
FMR may apply briefing, pilot testing, supervisor checks, call-backs, evidence review, data cleaning, consistency checks, quota monitoring, and other quality controls appropriate to the study. Quality procedures will depend on the methodology and approved project scope.
Payment terms follow the approved proposal, invoice, or written agreement. Initial payments may be required before scheduling manpower, travel, system setup, recruitment, or fieldwork. Remaining balances are due based on the agreed milestone, completion stage, or delivery schedule.
Deliverables may include raw data, cleaned data, summaries, transcripts, recordings, scorecards, photo evidence, tables, charts, topline reports, full research reports, or presentations depending on the agreed scope. Clients may use the deliverables for internal planning, strategy, evaluation, and decision-making unless otherwise agreed.
FMR treats client information, study materials, respondent data, and research outputs as confidential. Confidential information will not be intentionally disclosed to unauthorized parties except when required by law, approved by the client, or necessary to complete the agreed research work.
Research findings reflect collected responses, observations, and analysis within the approved methodology and time period. FMR does not guarantee sales results, market performance, regulatory approval, or business outcomes after the study is delivered.
